Hi and welcome to Dondero, we have a lot of nice staff and a nice clean school, good friends and most IMPORTANT you will feel WELCOME.
Nice Teachers
We have nice teachers at Dondero for grades K-5. The teachers are nice because they only yell if needed, teachers have good senses of humor and they are nice to children and other adults.
We have a special every day of the week for 45 minutes. We go to music to practice song to concerts. When you come to library you’ll discover new books every week. Every time you go to gym you play tag and the teacher, Mrs.Sat, is really nice. There are different unites such as lacross and soccer. If the weather is nice we have class outside. In computers, you’ll discover lots of fun websites. In art you’ll paint and draw every week.
If you live to far for your parents to drive all the way there or you cant walk to your house, then you take the bus home. The buses are organized by section of where you live. At the end of the day your buser patrol will bring you to the cafeteria where you will get in your bus line. They are sorted like P10, P12, ect. You will then go on your bus and go home.
In our library we have a large selection of books including some of your books authors for instants the Harry Potter series, 39 Clues, the Warriors series.And by some of your favorite authors for instants J.K. Rowling, Erin Hunter, Judy Blume.We have all the genres from fantasy to nonfiction.
We have lots of after school activities like chess,cooking,karate,yoga,cartooning,tennis and much much more. There's lots of fun things to do after school at Dondero!
Mrs. Lemay is our principal she keeps our school safe, healthy and fun.
At Dondero school, we have nights full of amazing things like...
Bingo where you come in with your family and play a game of bingo and win some things for your class and yourself,
we also have movie night where you come in and watch a movie like Planet 51,
we have Ice cream social where you come with your family and have ice cream !!!,
and we also have pasta night where you come in and have pasta with your family.
We have all those amazing things so come on down to Dondero school.
All of the grade levels have recess outside if it’s above freezing or if it’s below freezing then we have inside recess. Both are great! For inside recess we have board games and mini laptops called acers. Outside recess is even better than that. We have swings and slides and monkey bars. We also have a big field. If you would like to just play hopscotch or four square or basketball you can enjoy our blacktop. If you get cold often, make sure you bring a jacket, gloves and a hat, snow pants and boots for the cold weather.
HAVE FUN!!!

If you forget a snack, they will supply you with a healthy snack.
We have a healthy snack, which mean’s not junk food but things like apples, clementines, oranges, bananas , water, banana bread, crackers or gold fish.
Everyone loves snack time so come on down to Dondero school where we love snack.
The school nurse is always there for you, and she's very nice.
